The spring cleaning is done and the house is looking great. Invitations are out and you know who is coming. Your perfect party outfit is together and ready. Now what? Hosting a dinner party can be stressful, but it doesn’t have to be. Use these ideas to throw a fun, stress-free event that everyone will enjoy, including you!
Prep Your Table: Create an atmosphere that’s relaxing and different from your everyday space. Set out votives with candles for soft lighting and a cozy feel. Take advantage of spring’s fresh flowers to add pops of color. Plan a playlist with apps like Songza or Spotify with feel good music that will take you through until after dessert.

Plan Accordingly: Plan a menu that’s crowd-pleasing with dishes you have made at least once. Cook and prep what you can in advance so the night of so you’re not in the kitchen the whole time.
